Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Edgebook (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. What Edgebook is

Edgebook is a trade journaling and analytics tool. You upload records of trades you've made, and the Service organizes them, calculates statistics and, if you request it, produces AI-generated reviews. Edgebook is not a broker, dealer or investment adviser, doesn't execute trades and never connects to your brokerage account.

2. Not financial advice

Nothing in the Service, including statistics, grades, insights and AI coach reviews, is investment, financial, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. AI-generated content can be wrong or incomplete. You're solely responsible for your trading decisions. Trading stocks, options and other instruments involves substantial risk of loss, and past results don't predict future results.

3. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
• Keep your passcode secure. You're responsible for activity under your account.
• Your journal is saved on your own device. Download backups regularly; we can't recover a lost passcode or data cleared from your browser.

4. Your data

You own the trade data you upload. Your trades are stored on your own device and processed in your browser to operate the Service for you. Make sure you have the right to upload any file you import. See the Privacy Policy for details.

5. Plans, billing and cancellation

• Edgebook is currently free to use.
• Edgebook Pro, including the AI coach, is coming soon and isn't available to buy yet. Before it launches, we'll update these terms with its price, billing and cancellation details.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Service. That means don't try to access other users' data, overload or attack the Service, scrape it, reverse engineer it, use the AI features for anything other than reviewing your own trading, resell it, or use it to break any law.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep Edgebook running and accurate but provide it "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, including accuracy of imports, calculations or AI output. Keep your own records of your trades. We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Edgebook and its operator aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any trading losses, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you haven't paid anything.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms. Sections 2, 4, 7, 8 and 10 survive termination.

10. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Edgebook's operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. We may update these terms; if a change is material we'll notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
